Here are the tips to reduce your risk of getting sick with the disease.

・Stay home at night as well as on holidays

For Business Owners and Entrepreneurs

A range of support programs are available for small businesses facing COVID-19 hardships.

Hachioji City Business Continuity Emergency Relief Grant (for business owners whose revenues have dropped by 70 % or more) (*The application has been closed.)

A grant of 250,000 yen is provided to eligible business owners.
The application period ended on Wednesday, September 23.

Hachioji City Rental Emergency Relief Grant (2nd Term)

A grant of up to 300,000 yen (150,000 yen for those have received the grant previously) is provided to cover the rent.
The application period ends on Monday, December 28.

Tokyo Metropolitan Government Financial Support for Business Owners

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) has requested business owners to suspend their operation or shorten their business hours in order to combat COVID-19.
The TMG is providing financial support for those business owners who have thoroughly cooperate at the request.
The application deadline for the third term ended on Wednesday, September 30.
Applications by alcohol-serving restaurants and karaoke places that are located within the 23 wards and shortened their business hours during September are taken until Friday, October 30.

If your residence card's expiration date is between March 1 and July 31, you can file a renewal application until three month after the expiration date.
