Tokyo is now under rebound prevention period

The State of Emergency has been lifted and Tokyo Metropolitan Government has declared that the weeks of October 1 through October 24 (Sun) to be  "rebound prevention period".
In order to avoid a quick rebound of COVID-19, please continue to take preventive measures.

  • Avoid crowds. Avoid going out with  a large group of people. 
  • Take preventive measures when traveling across prefectural boarders.
  • Avoid dining out after 9 p.m. 
  • Avoid high-risk settings for COVID-19 transmission, such as drinking outdoors.

COVID-19 Vaccination Program

Hachioji City has been working diligently to prepare for the distribution and administration of the vaccines for all the citizens who wish to receive doses.
You will need your vaccine coupon sent by postal mail to schedule an appointment.
For those who have an appointment, we kindly ask you to fill out the original Prevaccination Screening Questionnaire for COVID-19 vaccine (it is called "yoshinhyo" in Japanese) enclosed with the coupon at home.

Those women who are pregnant and wish to receive the COVID-19 testing before childbirth may receive subsidy of up to 20,000 yen.
