その結果、人口50万人以上の都市中の1人1日あたりの総排出量の少なさで、平成29年度（2017年度）以降3年連続全国1位を獲得しました。

Information about receiving inspection visit on Solid Waste Management

Hachioji City has enacted a range of measures aimed at becoming a “Recycling-oriented City”.
As a result, it has been ranked as the least waste generating city in Japan for three years in a row by the Ministry of the Environment, from among all cities with 500,000 or more residents for 2017, 2018 and 2019.
That’s why Hachioji City actively welcomes both domestic and international visitors to observe our waste-reduction initiatives.
If you would like to visit, please check the contents below and apply in advance.
